UTAH COUNTY RESIDENTIAL INSULATION
Plan insulation for your Provo home, attic or remodel
Interwest provides residential insulation services in Provo, Utah, as part of our Utah County service area. From our Pleasant Grove home base, we help homeowners plan attic upgrades, unfinished-basement insulation, basement ceiling sound reduction, suitable finished-wall and ceiling drill-and-fill work, additions, remodels, and new homes.
Choose a starting point for your Provo project
If your attic has thin or uneven insulation, an accessible inspection helps define what is present and what should be addressed before adding material. Tell us about uncomfortable rooms, known leaks, damaged ducts, or planned roof and mechanical work. The insulation estimate should identify the area, product, target, access, and preparation.
If you are finishing a basement, distinguish exterior-wall comfort goals from sound between floors. Open walls and ceiling joists give the crew direct access before drywall. Unfinished-basement insulation and ceiling sound reduction can be coordinated with the rest of the construction schedule.
For an existing finished room, drill-and-fill may be appropriate when the cavities can be reached and filled through planned openings. Obstructions, existing material, wall or ceiling condition, and finish responsibilities need to be considered before choosing the method.
A cold bedroom above a garage may involve insulation coverage, air leakage, or heating and cooling performance. We explain those distinctions in our room-above-garage guide. Send the room layout and any known access details so we can discuss the appropriate next step.
For an addition, remodel, or new home, share the plans and expected insulation stage. We review the proposed assemblies and coordinate a clear scope for the accessible framing.

Costs, rebates and the next step
Pricing depends on the treatment area, product, existing conditions, access, and preparation. Our Utah insulation cost guide explains the estimate factors. Some attic projects may qualify for utility incentives; check the current Utah insulation rebate requirements before work starts. Benefits depend on program eligibility and are separate from the project price.
Interwest does not currently install spray foam or offer insulation removal. Ask about referrals to spray-foam contractors. Any required removal or specialty remediation must be arranged separately before new insulation work.
