Interwest Insulation
Privacy Policy
This policy explains the information Interwest receives through this website and how it is used to respond to residential insulation requests.
The practical summary
We use project information to review and respond to your request
When you request an estimate, Interwest may receive your name, email address and/or phone number, city or ZIP code, project type, approximate dimensions, description, selected reply methods, and photographs or plans you choose to upload. We use that information to understand the project, prepare or discuss an estimate, coordinate follow-up, and maintain business records.
Interwest does not sell the personal information submitted through the estimate form. Contact permission on the form applies to the project request, not unrelated marketing messages.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, the site and its hosting, security, form, spam-prevention, and performance systems may process technical information such as an IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, requested pages, timestamps, and error or security events. This information helps deliver the site, prevent abuse, diagnose problems, and understand basic website use.
The current hosted website does not use Google Analytics, Google Ads, or remarketing tags. If optional analytics or advertising technology is added later, this policy and the site’s consent controls will be updated before that tracking is activated.
Project photographs, plans, and uploads
Uploads are optional. Send only files you are comfortable sharing for an estimate request, and remove confidential, unrelated, financial, medical, identity, or access information before uploading. Photographs from a phone may contain metadata such as date, device, or location information. Interwest uses submitted files to evaluate and discuss the requested project.
Website administrators and service providers that operate the form, hosting, email, backup, security, or file-storage systems may process submitted files as needed to provide those services.
Service providers and external services
Interwest may use companies that provide website hosting, WordPress software, estimate forms, email delivery, spam prevention, backups, security, performance, and analytics. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices while supporting the website.
The homepage may display review information retrieved by the website’s server and link to Google Maps. The server-side review connection does not place Google tracking cookies in a visitor’s browser. Following a link to Google or another outside website is governed by that provider’s privacy practices.
Cookies and local browser storage
The site does not intentionally set optional analytics or advertising cookies. Hosting and security providers may use strictly necessary storage. Because optional tracking is not currently active, an optional-cookie consent banner is not displayed. If nonessential analytics or advertising cookies are added, visitors will be given clear consent choices before those technologies are activated.
Retention, security, and choices
Interwest retains estimate requests and related business records for as long as reasonably needed to respond, prepare or document work, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods can vary with the type of record and whether a project proceeds.
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no website, email system, or Internet transmission can promise absolute security. Do not send highly sensitive information through the estimate form.
You may ask Interwest to correct or delete personal information you submitted through this website, subject to records that must be kept for legitimate business, security, contractual, tax, or legal reasons.
